This is the third in a worldwide series of steel easels measuring 25 metres (80 feet high) and weighing 17,000 kilograms (45,000 pounds). The painting that rests on the easel, a colossal hand-painted reproduction of one of Van Gogh's seven Sunflower Paintings, measures 7 metres x 10 metres (24 feet x 32 feet) and was created by Canadian artist Cameron Cross. The Easel is located in a new scenic parkway visible to traffic along the I-70.
